Summit Interconnect Adds Advanced Testing Machines at Orange Facility

Summit Interconnect Orange, a subsidiary of Summit Interconnect, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of the atg Luther & Maelzer A7a high-speed electrical tester for bare board testing. The atg A7a is an 8-head, double-sided, high-speed, auto-load/unload system for true “lights-out” operation. Jack Evans, VP and General Manager of the Summit Orange operation comments, “the atg A7a will be our highest speed tester yet and with the auto-load/unload feature, it will significantly improve productivity on large jobs. The A7a assures our customers that Summit remains committed to supporting their highest levels of technology all the way through our facility, including the final electrical test.”

The A7a tester is scheduled to be fully installed and ready for use by August 15, 2017.
