Advanced Assembly Changes Name to Summit Interconnect

The Brand Transition Combines More Than 20 Years of PCB Assembly Experience with Extensive Fabrication Resources

January 7, 2025, Denver, CO – Advanced Assembly, the pioneer of quick-turn PCB assembly services, today announced that it will officially transition its brand identity to align with its parent company, Summit Interconnect, following the company’s acquisition in 2022. The name change marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth and is designed to further strengthen Summit Interconnect’s leadership position in PCB manufacturing moving into 2025.

The rebranding will include migration to Summit Interconnect’s logo, an updated website, marketing materials, and customer-facing communications, ensuring a unified brand and a broad portfolio of PCB offerings. While Advanced Assembly will retain its commitment to delivering high-quality PCB assembly services, the new brand identity will bring added PCB fabrication resources, technology investment, and expanded capabilities to its customers and partners.

Notification of the impending transition has been distributed over the past six months and will continue to be communicated throughout the first half of 2025, giving current customers time to adapt to the name change. Customers can expect the same high level of personal attention and quick-turn assembly services for prototypes to mid-volume production orders they have come to trust over the past 20 years. Advanced Assembly’s existing team will work closely with its clients and partners throughout this period to ensure a smooth and seamless transition.

As the Denver division of Summit Interconnect, the facility will do business as Summit Interconnect. However, the legal entity remains Advanced Assembly, LLC, allowing existing service agreements to remain intact. For additional questions on the business impact of the brand and name change, please contact Shane Shuffield, Vice President of Assembly Sales, at shane.shuffield@summititnerconnect.com.
